Question 95687: OK. I am given a parallelogram on a graph with no points and I am asked to find the perimeter of this parallelogram. How do I find the perimeter of this graphed parallelogram?
Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIRST YOU NEED TO IDENTIFY ALL THE CORNER POINTS.
THEN FIND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM USING THE PYTHAGOREON THEORUM (A^2+B^2=C^2) AS EACH SET OF POINTS FORM A RIGHT TRIANGLE. THE DISTANCE IS THE HYPOTENUSE OF THESE TRIANGLES (C).
ONCE YOU'VE FOUND THE LENGTH OF THE TWO PARALLEL SIDES JUST ADD THEM FOR THE PERIMETER.
