Two sides of a parallelogram are in ratio 5:3 . If its perimeter is 64 cm, find the lengths of its sides.
----------------
5:3 is the same as 5x:3x where 5x can be Length and 3x can be Width
--------------
Perimeter = 2(L+W)
64 = 2(5x+3x)
8x = 32
x = 4
5x = 5*4 = 20 cm = Length
----
3x = 3*4 = 12 cm = Width
