Question 67275: what is the "concept of slope"?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope is the same a rise over run
The rise is vertical change between two points.
The run is the horizontal change between two points.
You find the "change" by subtracting the y-value of one
point from the other y-value; similarly for the x-values.
The only restriction is, you must use corresponding values.
That means, if you have point 1 and point 2, and you subtract
the y-value of point 2 from the y of point 1, you must follow
the same order with the x-values.
