You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Solution:
Volume of the rectangular solid V=+L+%D7W+%D7+h
72|:2
36|:2
18|:2
9|:3
3|:3
1................2, 2,2,3, and 3 are factors of 72
multiplied give you 72: 2%2A2%2A2%2A2%2A3%2A3
since you nee only three multipliers, go with 6%2A3%2A4
then you have:
Volume V+=+6+%2A+3+%2A+4+=+72+cubic units

what would two dimensions for a solid of a volume of a rectangular to be 72 cubic units
--------------
Any 2 values can be used.
Vol = L*W*H
-------------
eg, 1*1 --> the 3rd = 72
2*1 --> 36
3*4 --> 12
0.1*1 --> 720
36*6 --> 1/3
etc
