Question 590838: Hello! I have this question that I'm having trouble solving.
ABCD is a rhombus. Find x and y if BC=y+20, BA= 5y+6, CD=x
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since ABCD is a rhombus, AB = BC, BC = CD, CD = AD
Basically, all sides are equal.
So y+20 = 5y+6. Solve this equation for y
and once you find the value of 'y', use it to find BC or BA. Doing so will give you the value of x since CD = x
