The area of a parallelogram is base*height.
Let's say the base is 3 and height is 10. That gives us an area of 30.
The smaller the angle the sides make with the base the longer the sides are and consequently the larger the perimeter (which is two times the base plus two times a side).
So having the same area doesn't necessarily result in the same perimeter.
