Each triangle has area = (1/2)*base*height
triangle area = (1/2)*2*2
triangle area = 2 yds^2

There are 4 triangles, so their combined area is 8 yds^2

Base is a square, whose area is 2*2 --> 4yds^2

To total SA = 12yds^2
