The coordinates of the vertices of rhombus ABCD are A(1, 1), B(5, 3), C(7, 7), and D(3, 5). Find the coordinates of the point of intersection of the diagonals.


Since the diagonals of any parallelogram bisect each other,
we only need the midpoint of one diagonal.  It doesn't
matter which one we find the midpoint of.  The midpoint
formula for the midpoint between points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is
