Question 178386: I have a parallelogram with a diagnol that bissects the 4 angles. The first upper diagnol line is 2f-5, the bottom half of that same line is 5f-17. The line that crosses this one left hand side is f+2 and the right hand side is g. I have to solve for each variable. Please help I'm about to go crazy.

OK I believe you are talking about a parallelogram with its 2 diagonals drawn in. (The diagonals of a parallelogram always bisect the angles, and more importantly, always bisect each other.) So, write 2 equations with the lengths of the diagonals. Each diagonal is split in half (bisected), so the 2 halves are equal. Use the first diagonal to solve for f. Then use that value and the second diagonal to solve for g.
