THE PROBLEM:
2/5-1/5=?
For this, where bothe denominators are the same, just subtract along the top.
2/5-1/5=1/5
THE PROBLEM:
2/3-1/6=?
To do this, you have to convert them to the same denominator:
2/3 = 4/6
4/6-1/6 = 3/6.
SIMPLIFY IF YOU CAN!
3/6 = 1/2
