Question 968443: If 1/5x=3/10. Then what is 15x+2
Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/5x = 3/10
cross multiply to get:
10 = 15x
solve for x to get x = 10/15 = 2/3.

15x + 2 is therefore equal to 15 * 2/3 + 2 which is equal to 12.
