Multiply 7/8 times both the terms in the brackets (7/8*32)+(7/8*16x)=-7x-14
Giving: 28+14x=-7x-14
add 7x and subtract 28 from both sides: 21x=-42
divide both sides by 21: x=-2
you are correct.
