In 2004 the population of Mexico is 106.5 million. If Mexico's population continue to grow at an annual rate of 1.43%, then the population in 2015 will be 106.5(1.0143)11 millon.
a) Find the predicted population in 2015 to the nearest tenth of a million people.

106.5(1.0143)^11 millon = 106.5*1.169043524...= 124.50 million
