S^2+S+14=0
USING THE QUADRATIC EQUATION
WE GET:
S=(-1+-SQRT[1^2-4*1*14])/2*1
S=(-1+-SQRT[1-56])/2
S=(-1+-SQRT-55)/2
S=(-1+-7.416i)/2
S=(-1+7.416i)/2
S=-1/2+7.416i/2
S=-.5+3.708 ANSWER.
S=(-1-7.416)/2
S=-1/2-7.416/2
s=-.5-3.708 answer.

You asked to factor this trinomial! This trinomial CANNOT be factored! Moreover, this is NOT an equation, so you can't solve it by quadratic formula, as one of the other tutors tried to do. It is INCORRECT to solve something that is NOT an equation to begin with!!
