To convert 24/25 to a decimal you need to divide 24 by 25 the old fashion way:

Or you can set up an equality to convert this to a fraction with 100 as the denominator:
24/25=x/100
we have multiplied the denominator by 4 therefore we need to multiply the numerator by 4. we then have 4*24=96: thus we have 96/100 which is the same as .96 the decimal equivalent of 24/25.
