A farmer uses 9/16 for growing cassava.
1 - 9/16
16/16 - 9/16 = 7/16 left.
2/7 of 7/16 = 2/7 * 7/16 = 1/8
An 1/8th of the field is used for growing corn.
Hope this helps.
