(2) 3 + x/10 = 3/10 or
(3) x/10 = 3/10 - 3 or
(4) x/10 = (3-30)/10 or
(5) x/10 = -27/10 or
(6) x = -27
Let's check x with (1).
Is (3 + (-27)/10 = 6/20)?
Is (3 - 27/10 = 6/20)?
Is ((30-27)/10 = 6/20)?
Is (3/10 = 6/20)?
Is (6/20 = 6/20)? Yes
Answer: x is equal to negative twenty seven (-27).
Given:
(7) -4/(x+2) = -3/(x-7) or after multiplying both sides by -1 we get
(8) 4/(x+2) = 3/(x-7) or after flipping both sides we get
