Question 786683: my son is having trouble with this problem and i can not help with it. could you explain to me how to find the answer. thank you 8/4=2/x x=?
Answer by wilft1(217)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8/4 = 2/x = x
8/4 the numerator is double the denominator, so to equate it to 2/x, x will be half of 2, which is 1, so

x = 1
