Just submit some problems and working through them will help you regain your confidence to do algebra. It doesn't sound silly at all. The main thing to remember is that it's never too late. If it was too late, then it would never get done. If submitting problems isn't convenient for you, then I might be able to arrange some time to do some real time tutoring.
