Answer by Eva18(13) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/3(d+9)=-12
=....(d+9)/3=-12
multiply by 3 both sides
3*(d+9)/3=3*-12
council the threes in the lefthand side
d+9=-36
get like terms together
d=-36-9
hence:
d=-45.
