No matter what I always come up with 7 but when I go to check the answer it's wrong. Suggestions??

1/6x-1/12x=-1/3-1/4
12x-6x/6x*12x=-4-3/12
6x/6x*12x=-7/12
1/12x=-7/12
1/x=-7
x=-1/7
