Question 62540: (x-5)/3-3/2=(4x+7)/6
Answer by uma(370)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given (x-5)/3 - 3/2 = (4x+7)/6
Multiplying throughout by the LCD 6 we get..
2(x-5) - 3*3 = 4x + 7
==> 2x - 10 - 9 = 4x + 7
==> 2x - 19 = 4x + 7
==> 2x - 4x - 19 = 4x + 7 - 4x
==> - 2x - 19 = 7
==> -2X - 19 + 19 = 7 + 19
==> -2X = 26
==> -2X/-2 = 26/-2
==> x = - 13

Good Luck!!!
