I think you might have too many equal signs in this equation, because if we consolidate like terms, we have:
-x=2x+1/2=3/4x
and this doesn't make any sense... there is no solution, check the problem and repost. Also do you mean -5x/4 or -5/4x, because there is a difference... if the x is next to the fraction (and not in the denominator) then it is -5x/4
