When you want to devide two fractions, take the reciprocal of the second fraction. That means flip it over. Then multiply the numerators together and the denominators together.
4/9 divided by 2/5 is 4/9 times 5/2.
The answer is thusly 20/18 or simplified 10/9, which is the mixed number 1 and 1/10.
