Question 47422: 3/4(7a+2)=10
Answer by mszlmb(115)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3/4(7a+2)=10 divide both sides by 3/4
7a+2=10/.75   simplify:10/.75=13.333.., or 13 and 1/3
7a+2=13 1/3   -2 both sides
7a=11 1/3     divide both sides by 7
a=11.33333333../7
simplify:  11.3333../7=1.6190476190476190476190476190476..., or approximately 1.62
