Answer by tran3209(100)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 hour or 60 minutes, a person runs in place burns 650 calories.
let X is the calories burns in 15 minutes for a person running in place.
Apply the rule of proportion:
X = (650)(15)/60 -----> X = 162.5 calories.
This is the answer: 162.5 calories.
