Question 391469: n-5 3/4=1 11/12

Answer by AnubhavRane(4)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n - 23/4 = 23/12 ... converting into improper fractions
n = 23/12 + 23/4 ... transfering term on the other side
n = 23/12 + 69/12 ... taking LCM so we can add the fractions on the right side
n = 92/12
n = 23/3 ... simplifying the fraction
n = 7 2/3 ... converting to mixed fraction
