Question 342824: Hi. I recently studied fractions involving binomials and polynomials as common denominators, and right now I'm studying problems of adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators. I really have a problem involving this problem:
3 - 7x over 8x^2 -18
+ 3 + x -
4 - x over 2x^2 - 9x + 9
Can you please tell me how exactly do I figure out what LCD to multiply with the numerator, and what to do with the expressions in the middle that aren't fractions? (the 3 and the x)
Thank you very much.
