You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i am assuming that the first numerator is x-6 and not just 6...
%28x-6%29%2F%28x%29+-+%28x%2B6%29%2F%28x-6%29+=+6%2Fx
First thing...get rid of the fractions by multiplying everything by x(x-6):
%28x%28x-6%29%28x-6%29%29%2F%28x%29+-+%28x%28x-6%29%28x%2B6%29%29%2F%28x-6%29+=+%286x%28x-6%29%29%2Fx+
this gives...%28x-6%29%28x-6%29+-+x%28x%2B6%29+=+6%28x-6%29
So, now, x%5E2-12x%2B36+-+x%5E2-6x+=+6x-36
-24x = -72
x=3
Always check your answer..put x=3 into the original and make sure that the Left side does equal the right side.
