in fractions, we inverted(second term) and multiplied

{6/11} * (22/8),,,now we "just" multiply

{6*22} /{11*8}

.
{6/11} * {22/8},,,,now reduce,,,by cancelling opposite terms

6 * (2/8)

Either works,,,but reducing before multiplying keeps the numbers smaller
