the sum of 3 numbers is 120, the 2nd of the number is 8 less than the first and third is 4 more than the first
----
Let the 1st be "x"
2nd is "x-8"
3rd is "x+4"
======================
Equation:
x + x-8 + x+4 = 120
3x -4 = 120
3x = 124
x = 41 1/3
------------------
x-8 = 33 1/3
--------------------
x+4 = 45 1/3
