I minused 9 from both sides and got -2m/7=10 I am trying to isolate m so I did the inverse of 2m/7 and got m-10
when I tried to check the answer I did not got the same number. Where did I go wrong?

Solve for m:
Subtract 9 from both sides. You were ok on this step!
Now multiply both sides by 7.
Simplify.
Finally, divide both sides by -2.
