The answer is 1/7. Since there's two negative fractions and one positive fraction, it will be simplier if you multiply the negatives first. negative 1/2 X negative 4/7 equals to 4/56, or 1/14, since when you multiply 2 negative, the answer becomes positive. Now you times 1/14 to 2. 1/14 times 2/1 = 2/14 = 1/7.
