Number 7 on my homework says I should change the ingredients made for 36 people to find the amount of ingredients for one person.

If 100% of the ingredients are enough for 36 people...that means that 1/36 of the ingredients are enough for 1 person.
You can check the accuracy of this answer by taking your answer for how many ingredients for 1 person...which I've stated is 1/36...and multiplying it by the amount of people total...which is 36
1/36 x 36 = 1...which is the same as 100% of the ingredients.
Therefore, 1/36 is the fraction you need to show how many ingredients are needed for 1 person.
