Answer by josmiceli(19441)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First, how many 1/4's are there in 1 1/2 ?
There are 4 1/4's in 1
There are 2 1/4's in 1/2
4 + 2 = 6
So, there are 6 1/4's in 1 1/2
If she uses the 1/4 teaspoon measure 6 times,
that will equal 1 1/2 teaspoons
