2/3+3/4 A COMMON DENOMINATOR IS ALWAYS THE MULTIPLICATION OF THE 2 DENOMINATORS (3*4)=12.
HOWEVER NOT ALWAYS THE LCD. IN THIS CASE IT IS THE LOWEST.
(2*4+3*3)/12=(8+9)/12=17/12 OR 1 5/12 ANSWER.

7.)two thrids + three fours
(2/3) + (3/4)
least common denominator is 12
= (8/12) + (9/12)
= (17/12)
-------------------------
8.)3-f=five sixs
3-f = (5/6)
Add "f" to both sides to get:
f+(5/6) = 3
Subtract 5/6 from both sides to get:
f = 2 1/6 or 13/6

16.)round 36.486 to the nearest hundreths.
36.49
-------------------
25.)decribe how to mentally calculate one tenth of $12.50
Move the decimal point one place to the left.

30.)if l=1.5 and w= 0.75 then does lw equal?
lw = 1.5*0.75 = 1.125
