Question 120741: add: a(3)c(2)/x+ x(3)-cx(2)/m The numbers in the ( ) are exponets.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! add: a(3)c(2)/x+ x(3)-cx(2)/m
--------------------------
a^3 c^2/x + x^3 -cx^2/m
lcd = mx
Rewrite each term with mx as its denominator:
ma^3c^2/lcd + mx^4/lcd -cx^3/lcd
Combine the fractions over the lcd:
[mx^3c^2+mx^4-cx^3]/lcd
= [x^3(mc^2+m-c)]/mx
= [x^2(mc^2+m-c]/m
= x^2[m(c^2-1)-c]/m
This might not be the final form you are looking for;
there are alot of options for a final form.
