Assuming a horizontal ground, each object's and the object's shadow
can be visualized as the legs of a right triangle.
The hypotenuse would be along the ray of sunlight that grazes the top of the object,
and both hypotenuses make the same angle with the ground.
Having one pair of congruent acute acute angles,
makes both right triangles similar,
so their ratio of vertical leg to horizontal leg must be the same.

The ratio for the shadow to height is 5:2 The same ratio is 10:4, 15:6 ,and 20:8. You have to get the height part of the ratio to be 7 That is between 6 and 8, which the shadow is 15 and 20. 7 is in between 6 and 8 so the answer must be in between 15 and 20.7 is right in the middle of 6 and 8 so the answer should be 17.5 meters.
