josgarithmetic has the correct equation and correct steps leading to the correct t value; however, 3 hours from 6:30 AM is not 11:30 AM. Instead the time should be 9:30 AM.

Edit: I wasn't thinking. The t value refers to the elapsed time after the husband left. He left at 8:30 AM. Three hours after that is 8:30+3 = 11:30 AM so josgarithmetic has the correct time. My apologies.
