Question 100368: As I was doing my homework, I came across this problem:
Mrs. Roscoe can bake a batch of oatmeal-raisin cookies in 3/4 hour. What reasonable amount of cookies can she bake in 5 1/4 to 6 3/4 hours?
I know dozen means twelve, and score means 20, but I'm not sure what number the word "batch" represents. If one of you tutors could please tell me what it means, I'll be able to solve the problem on my own. Thank you so much for your time! :)

I think the answer is supposed to be in "batches"

the question asks the "amount" of cookies as opposed to the NUMBER of cookies
