Question 908073: One integer is 5 more than another integer. The sum of the 2 integers is -13. What are the 2 integers
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = larger integer
y = smaller integer

x = y + 5
x + y = -13

x - y = 5
x + y = -13

Add to get 2x = -8, so x = -4.

The two integers are -4 and -9.
