Question 746678: HOW CAN WE REPRESENT UNDER ROOT 5 ON NUMBER LINE
Answer by tommyt3rd(5050)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Root 5 is an irrational number. An irrational number is a non-repeating, non-terminal number which means it never ends and has no predictable pattern to it's digits positions. So the best we can hope to do is describe it's location compared to other numbers on the number line.
