Question 695661: My daughter has homework asking questions about writing improper fractions and mixed numbers. She doesn't know what numbers to put on her number line. It starts with O and has 2 lines in between a 1. Please let us know what numbers should be put for the lines? It looks as though the denominator is suppose to be 5.

Tick marks on a number line are equally spaced, so the numbers should be 1/3 and 2/3.
