the number 0 is located in the middle of the number line. This is because it separates the negative numbers from the positive numbers.
for instance,
-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4

Ans: Whereever you put it.
Pick a point and label it 0.
Then count 1,2,3 etc to the right of zero
and -1,-2, -3 etc to the left of zero.
