Driving east, you have dropped down to 2200 feet above sea level at milepost 75.0. What was your average rate of altitude change between those two points, in feet per mile? how do i find the slope

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you have traveled 9.5 miles down the slope. (75-65.5)
you have dropped level 4061-2200=1861
Rtae of change of altitude = 1861/9.5
=195.9 feet / mile
