In order to do the number line diagram, we first have to simplify and solve for x.
2(x+3)+14=3(x-4)+11
2x+6+14 = 3x-12+11
2x+20 = 3x-1
subtract 2x from each side: 20=x-1
add 1 to each side: 21=x (which is the same as x=21)
Note: This is just to show you basically what a number line diagram looks like. The dot should really be on 21 (but I couldn't show a number line that long).
