25 75 156 318 adding these numbers we get 574 now dividing 574 by 4 we get 143.5 which is the mean or average.
to find the median we need to find the middle number when arranged from smallest to greatest thus the median is half way between 75 & 156 or (75+156)/2 or 231/2 or 115.5 is the median.
