Question 493967: need help making a number line starting with 2493 and ending with 8008 in 6 increments
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20077)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Subtract 8008-2493, getting 5515
Divide 5515÷6, getting 919

Add 2493 + 919, getting 3412
Add 3412 + 919, getting 4331
Add 4331 + 919, getting 5250
Add 5250 + 919, getting 6169
Add 6169 + 919, getting 7088
Add 7088 + 919, getting 8008

Now mark and label 7 points on a number line:

I will write the digits of the numbers vertically instead
of horizontally

The numbers are so huge they would take up
too much space to write them horizontally,
so write the digits of the numbers vertically instead
of horizontally:

3 2 1 0 9 8 8

    1 1 1 2 5
    6 3 2 3 6
