What is the actual rule for the order of operation and the rules re: this type of problem:
-10-[(-3+-7)+(-4+-6)]+12
-6-(-3)+(4+-7)+10
**
-10-[(-3+-7)+(-4+-6)]+12-6-(-3)+(4+-7)+10
Order of operations:working to clear innermost parenthesis, start from left to right, add or subract, do exponents, multiply or divide, then combine like terms.
-10-[(-3-7)+(-4-6)]+12-6+3+(4-7)+10
-10-[-10-10]+9-3+10
-10+20+9-3+10
=26
