Question 29574: is 0 a monominal, bionimal,trinominal or polynominal?

Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
monomial is latin for "one-number/term" eg x, 5y, 6, -1, 3xy
binomial is latin for "two-numbers/terms" eg x+4, 3y-2, xy+6z
trinomial is latin for "three-numbers/terms" eg 4x+5y-1,
polynomial is latin for "many-numbers/terms" eg a+b+c-3d+e+2f etc

So, 0? it is 1 term...it is a?
